Greetings from the beautiful Willamette Valley and welcome to Willamette Food Adventures. You’ll find recipes, restaurant, store, and product reviews, and general information and history about food. While there are no rules, the information will tend toward local and seasonal.
Food is amazing. It has the power to bring us together, smooth tensions and barriers, and calm us. There’s a reason most human celebrations include food.
Food can be an adventure. Trying a new restaurant (just having the courage to walk into some dives is an adventure) or food for the first time, finding an unusual recipe, all these can be an adventure.
One thing’s for sure, it will always be for the love of food.
Diana Ranslam
Diana was born, ra
ised, and has lived most of her life in the mid-Willamette valley. She loves trying new recipes, experimenting with bacon, pretty much anything fried, and will try just about any food. She has the sometimes disturbing habit of referring to those she feeds as guinea pigs. This is an endearment as she has a great appreciation for guinea pigs and her guests happily volunteer to be used for testing any time.
Thank you for following my blog. I do appreciate! Kind regards!
